I confirm that I have read the above guild rules and that failure to conform to these may result in loss of raid spot

Class Knowledge

Please tell us your opening rotation (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

*Pre-cast Immolation Aura until +20 fury (make sure ability is off cooldown before fight is engaged)
*Immolation aura 1s before pull
*Pre-pot 1s before pull
*(Fel Rush if boss is too far) Blade Dance
*Demon's Bite
*Eye Beam
*Chaos Strike (until low on fury or Blade Dance is off cooldown)
*Blade Dance
*Meta (reset BD/EB)
*Blade Dance
*Eye Beam
*Chaos Strike (until low on fury or Blade Dance is off cooldown)
*Blade Dance
*Immolation aura
-----> opening done, whatever happens next depends on fight here. In case I'm playing with Fel Barrage, it will used right after first Eye Beam or saved in case additional targets come in soon. Same goes for Eye Beam itself if adds are coming up soon. Any available "on use" trinkets will be used right before first Eye Beam.

Please tell us your general rotation or priority system (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Priority system (without Meta since it depends from fight to fight when to use it).
Single target:
1. Eye Beam (Fel Barrage right after if specced)
2. Blade Dance
3. Immolation aura
4. Chaos Strike (until low on fury)
5. Demon's Bite

Multiple target (3+):
1. Eye Beam (Fel Barrage right after if specced)
2. Blade Dance
3. Immolation aura
4. Chaos Strike
4. Demon's Bite (Fel Rush x2 instead if available and can be used freely, also Vengeful Retreat [if standing against a wall] since it's on a different tier of GCD)

Not that different in terms of priority on abilities (single vs multi target). Multi-target based fights require proper positioning for Eye Beam to make sure all ticks hit it. Also, if possible, position for Fel Barrage to hit as many targets as possible with it.

Please list your current stat priority (screenshots of your character profile on SimCraft/RaidBots will also suffice), and then explain the benefits of each stat for your specialisation, making sure to include any softcaps or breakpoints you are aiming for

Single target (1 Patchwerk boss with default settings):

Versatility 2.48 - increases all damage, great for both single target and AoE damage.

Critical Strike 2.47 - similar to versatility, increases all damage output for single target and AoE damage. A little bit less valuable than versatility due to Eye Beam's guaranteed crits.

Haste 2.39 - increases fury generation which results in higher single target damage.

Agility 2.19 - increases attack power thus increasing all damage. While a good stat, this does not outperform any of the above stats (while using high-end gear) due to how attack power scaling works on all offensive abilities at this moment.

Mastery 1.93 - not as good as other stats because it only increases Chaos damage (which is around 60-70% of overall damage, depending on fight).

Multiple target (3 Patchwerk bosses with default settings):

Versatility 3.78 - just like single target, increases all damage dealt by a certain %, not much else to say.

Critical Strike 3.49 - discrepancy when comparing to single target Vers-Crit and multiple target Vers-crit is bigger (and will continue to grow with more targets in simulation due to Eye Beam). Still outperforms all the other stats except Versatility, same reasoning as single target.

Agility 3.40 - this time haste value is lower than agility. That's due to attack power scaling being high enough to outperform increase in attack speed (which makes sense since Eye Beam hits for a fixed amount of ticks thus being affected only by AP modifiers, Mastery or Versatility).

Haste 3.21 - all the other abilities except Eye Beam are still affected by this stat in some way. Generation of fury/amount of hits from Fel Barrage/total number of abilities cast. Drops in value against even more targets.

Mastery 3.00 - unlike haste, this stat increases in value as more targets become available to AoE down (since Physical damage becomes less effective due to Fel Barrage/Eye Beam being much stronger and Eye Beam not being affected by haste at all). This stat becomes more valuable than haste at around 7-8 targets threshold.

To sum this section up, DH has Versatility above all for single and multi target fights (due to haste and critical strike having no effect on Eye Beam) while crit and haste are very close by when it comes to single target.
Agility is outperformed in single target by crit/haste but starts becoming a much better stat at around 5-6 consistent targets.
Mastery is relatively poor stat on single target fights because it's around 2/3 of overall damage. Eventually outperforms haste against multiple targets (7-8+) consistently.

Please list your current talent setup, without abbreviations, detailing for each row whether the choice changes for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE

Tiers from 1 to 7:

1. Blind Fury - good for single target (max fury for Chaos Strike and Blade Dance) and multi-target (hitting more targets for longer). Noticed some players are using Felblade on single target focused fights although I haven't gotten around to test it myself yet.
2. Immolation aura - usual choice here as well, good for generating fury/dealing AoE damage. I've seen some players take Demon Blades for single target fights as well although that requires higher haste levels and specific trait stacking to be effective (multiple Furious Gaze).
3. Trail of Ruin for majority of single target fights as it is good for both cleave and consistent priority damage. Fel Barrage for when AoE damage is needed (for example Opulence).
4. Netherwalk almost most of the time (immunity with extremely high mobility increase is especially essential on progression). Soul Rending for when I know I will be taking damage in fight consistently (without getting one-shot by anything else, for example Grong as an orb holder).
5. First Blood. No competition, great for keeping Blade Dance at an extremely low fury cost while increasing single target damage on priority targets.
6. Depends which CC effect is needed.
7. Demonic - currently the best talent for havoc DH. Incredible synergy with Chaotic Transformation trait (reset Eye Beam on Meta cast) and Furious Gaze stacking. Massive increase in both single target and AoE damage.

An important note: failure to play optimal specialisations may result in loss of raid spot/being sat. Please confirm you have acknowledged this

Raid Related Info

What is your opinion on sitting during progression (potentially for multiple bosses)?

Absolutely fine. Making progress faster should be top priority during actual progress. If all goes well, whatever boss it was necessary for anyone to sit out, they will get the kill a week or two later (higher gear = much more flexible raid comps = more freedom to invite other players who might need gear from the boss).

What is your opinion on Private vs Public logging?

Frankly speaking I see no issues with logs being public. If I'm doing something poorly then everyone around me knows it, there is nothing I can do for the moment but I can always improve as time passes by. It doesn't matter to me what players out of guild think about me because I know I can play better than every green, blue and (in time) even purple log players. In my opinion there is no reason to hide logs.

Background information

Please list your previous guilds and a brief reason for leaving each of them (current expansion)

Constellation - came to play with a bunch of friends, disbanded guild soon after as most people didn't like the sense of progression.
Steel Monkeys - currently in the guild but I don't like the lack of proper progress at all. It feels like we're just progressing the same bosses every week. Thus why I'm looking for a new guild, while people here are nice, I know that I can achieve much more than what I currently have done in terms of progression.

Why have you chosen to apply to Weeping Angels?

First and foremost, it's high level of gameplay and end-game progression for each and every patch. This is what I'm interested in and looking for in every guild initially. I have always tried to keep up at the highest level of every game I've played seriously (WoW and LoL to be precise) while conserving my time and not trying to become a professional player since I do not have such luxury to do so.

Secondly, I'm always looking for a bunch of people to hang out with and not just play in a purely competitive environment. Yes, it's a must for me personally to stay competitive but I do not think that being stone cold towards your own team is the right attitude, thus why I value good atmosphere and understanding just as much as any sort of competition.

Personally, I prefer to make logical decisions most of the time regardless of situation. Higher value and effectiveness means better results overall. That's what I strive for and I believe your guild has a similar interest in that regard.

Thanks for reviewing my application, I hope most of these things here make sense. Apologies from my side right now in case I forgot to write something down (although I was pretty thorough in terms of writing the app, there is probably going to be some small part missing).

Hello there Tomas,
Thank you for your application. We will be reviewing it shortly and get back to you.

Hello there, sorry for the delay.

The guild has been disbanded and recruitment has therefore stopped!

Thanks for your interest.
