Character information

Battletag [OPTIONAL]

Race and Class
Orc Hunter
Main Spec

Beast Mastery [BM]

Off Spec(s) (only include if viable for progression)

Always been a sucker for Marksmanship [MM] and loved it but as of right now i don't like how weak mobility you have and the DPS is mainly focused to single target. As for Survival [SV] i like having fun as a melee and it is very strong especially for PvP and who the fuck doesn't like the ability to Tmog huge swords. Able to play all the specs but pirmarily [BM] atm.

Alts (comfortable playing for progression)

I don't currently have any alts but open for leveling one.

Class Knowledge

Please tell us your opening rotation (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Currently using [Primal Instinct] as it is the best trait, which changes my opener because of the [Barbed Shot] stack.

Before pull:
1) [Bestial Wrath]
2) Pre-pot + on use trinket
On pull:
3) [Barbed Shot]
4) [Aspect of the Wild]
5) [Barbed Shot]
6) [Kill Command]
7) [Murder of Crows]
8) [Chimaera Shot]

This opener is mainly focused on single target, but if it were a multiple targeted fight i would sneak in some [Multi-Shots], to keep my [Beast Cleave] active.

Continues to general rotation, which can be found down below.

Off-spec [SV]:
I am using the [Blur of Talons] build so i "just" have to use my [Coordinated Assault] and spam my [Mongoose Bite], while keeping my [Wildfire Bomb] stack at 1 and maintain my [Serpent Sting] dot up.

Please tell us your general rotation or priority system (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

1) The most essential part of [BM] at the moment is to keep your [Frenzy] stacks up, for maximum attack speed buff and uptime. It is important to remember that [Barbed Shot] not only is a DoT and [Frenzy] stacks, but also a cooldown reduction for your cooldown [Bestial Wrath]. The perfect scenario would be to keep one [Barbed Shot] ready at all times but that is only possible if you are insanely lucky with [Barbed Shot] procs. (Note: If possible always start the [Frenzy] stack rotation with 2 [Barbed Shot] ready.)

2) Cast [Kill Command] as much as possible, main damage ability more uses = more dps.

3) [Chimaera Shot] free damage ability no cast time and hits 2 targets while generating more focus to cast more [Kill Commands]

4) [Cobra Shot] used to reduce cooldown on [Kill Command], try not to waste focus on [Cobra Shot] if [Kill Command] is gonna be up in like 2 seconds, unless you are over capping on focus.

1) [Bestial Wrath] on CD straight up damage increase nothing special.

2) [Murder of Crows] keeping the dot up while it is not on cooldown, but doesn't take main priority. Reset on kill if it is still on the target while dying, so try and utilize multiply times if there is small adds that can reset it on a fight.

3) [Aspect of the Wild] on CD and try and utilize the extra [Barbed Shot] from [Primal Instincts] so you don't waste it while having 2 [Barbed Shot] ready.

Macro pet abilities into the general rotation to maximize your dps, and also keep in mind your pet have a [Dash] speed boost good to save for long distance traveling. You can use [Kill Command] as a charge, also [Barbed Shot] but only as a last resort that you lose damage from [Stomp] talent, if your pet isn't close to the target while using [Barbed Shot].

Please list your current stat priority (screenshots of your character profile on SimCraft/RaidBots will also suffice), and then explain the benefits of each stat for your specialisation, making sure to include any softcaps or breakpoints you are aiming for

Stat weight for 5min Patchwerk:

Weapon Damage - Most important hunter stat like for all physical classes.

Agility - Primary stat straight damage increase.

Versatility - Damage and healing done increase and decreases damage taken.

Haste - Increases focus regeneration and attack speed, reduces global cooldown and the cooldown of [Kill Command], [Chimaera shot] and [Barbed Shot].

Critical Strike - Increases chance for a critical strike(200% damage) and increases the chance for [Wild Call] which gives critical strikes 20% chance of giving a [Barbed Shot] stack.

Mastery - Increases damage done by your pets.

I normally sim all my new gear to see what is best at the current moment but of course is there priorities like more haste on AoE, so i am trying my best to evening the scales, so i am both functionally in raid environments and Mythic+. To be honest is [BM] pretty forgiving at the moment with stats, because you have to get a certain amount of haste and then all stats are almost equal.

Please list your current talent setup, without abbreviations, detailing for each row whether the choice changes for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE

Only gonna talk viable/important talents at the moment, because [BM] are pretty cookie cutter.

Tier 1:
[Killer Instincts] straight up 50% increased damage on targets below 35% health for [Kill Command], passive execute effect.

Wouldn't use [Animal Companion] or [Dire Beast] as of right now, because they are under tuned at the moment may change later on.

Tier 2:
[Chimaera Shot] free damage ability that hits 2 targets and generate 10 focus per target hit.

Wouldn't use [Scent of Blood] or [One with the Pack] as of right now, because they are under tuned at the moment may change later on.

Tier 3:
[Natural Mending] focus spending reduces cooldown on [Exhilaration] self heal, used for raiding to cut some slack for healers, and might come in handy if you have to soak huge damage.

For example on M.O.T.H.E.R cheese where all run through with [Spirit-Link Totem] and soaking pulls on Zul etc.

[Camouflage] gives you a [Stealth] that's weaker than rogues, also heals you while active mostly used in Mythic+ can also be used for the dog in Freehold.

[Trailblazer] gives passive movement speed increase while not attacking, i use it to grind old content because Tmogs are the shit.

Tier 4:
[A Murder of Crows] a dot cooldown that resets if it is still on the target while dying.

[Thrill of the Hunt] makes [Barbed Shot] stack crit also, was used in a crit stacking cheese build, never really tried it since the top [BM] players said it wasn't better.

Wouldn't use [Venomous Bite] as of right now, because it is under tuned at the moment may change later on.

Tier 5:
[Posthaste] gives disengage a freedom and movement speed increase used most of the time.

For example on G'huun while orb running you can freedom yourself, without needing a cunning pet if you are drooling so much on yourself you end up getting snared while orb running.

[Binding Shot] gives you an AoE snare mostly used in Mythic+, can be useful for niche raiding mechanics.

Wouldn't use [Born To Be Wild] as of right now, because it is under tuned at the moment may change later on.

Tier 6:
[Stomp] when using [Barbed Shot] your pet does AoE damage around it most stable single target damage and low AoE fights.

[Barrage] yeah so you go ham and shoot everything in sight, good on huge AoE fights (G'huun) and always a pleasure to watch you shoot around like a maniac.

Wouldn't use [Stampede] as of right now, because it is under tuned at the moment may change later on.

Tier 7:
[Aspect of the Beast] makes your pet a beast and increases its damage with 30% and empowers your pets passive with 50%.

Wouldn't use [Killer Cobra] or [Spitting Cobra] as of right now, because it they are under tuned at the moment may change later on.

An important note: failure to play optimal specialisations may result in loss of raid spot/being sat. Please confirm you have acknowledged this

Raid Related Info

What is your opinion on sitting during progression (potentially for multiple bosses)?

No problem can always tag along later on, that only gives me more time to prepare for when it is my time to shine, and the blizzard standard is to nerf shit later on anyway so sub optimal classes get their shot at all the bosses.

In the event of my class being completely useless in a tier i would be willing to reroll to a more preferable class.

What is your opinion on Private vs Public logging?

I only use logs to see mistakes and git gud so don't really care as long as i have access to my logs.

Background information

Please list your previous guilds and a brief reason for leaving each of them (current expansion)

In the past i raided with <Virtual Dragonslayers> / <TRON> on Ravencrest Alliance, Divinefield was my raid leader and we got high end kills but we were just a casual group of friends playing together. The reason we stopped was that we got bored with the content at the end of Cataclysm and at the beginning MoP.

Played on and off until the end of Legion and when i got my drive back in BFA i began looking for a more high end PvE scene thats why i came to horde.

After arriving on Tarren Mill horde i wanted to do some higher Mythic+, joined the guild MMXVI as a social to do Mythic+ while looking for a raiding guild, then i ended up in Sentience.

Progressed with Sentience until i achieved 7/8M the guild was fairly new but they didn't have the same drive as i have.

Sentience had some different ideas of where they wanted to be and how to get there so i ended up butting heads with some of the officers from time to time, i got on well with the people that had humor, only left the guild on bad terms with the GM and 1 or 2 officers based on ideas for preparations for next tier.

I had been having a discussion about how 1 of the officers was scrapping Azerite upgrades for residuum despite we were still progressing on G'huun and we could had used the damage for progressing. i thought it was a bad idea to scrap BiS gear going into the next tier while you could just use the gear until you got another upgrade and then scrap it.

Ended up having a discussion with the GM, about that officer i then went to a new years eve party and got drunk, while drunk i send 2 dick pics to the guild snapchat telling my GM to suck it, was a drunk joke not spiteful. The GM and most Officers took this the wrong way and kicked when i came online in my hangover.

The reason i felt the need to make inputs was because, i saw some problems i wanted to address, and the officers told me to just idly follow despite the guild not progressing as fast i wanted.

Then i joined <The Ritual> and finished Uldir it was a good raiding environment, but some people lack the dedication and i was hoping for more. In the last 2 weeks some people have mentioned finding new guilds, so i am not certain about the guilds future.

Why have you chosen to apply to Weeping Angels?

I was looking for well established guilds that raids 2 to 3 times a week. I also heard a little bit about the guild through some of my Mythic+ friends.

I was looking at the guild on WoWprogress and saw you guys are very consistent with your world rankings through previous tiers, i also saw some of your kill videos liked the vibe a lot mainly the humor and professionalism.

I really wanna try and challenge myself and push my limits further on.

Thanks for making it through i hope you liked what you read.

Please contact me asap regarding your decision thank you for your consideration.

Oscar - "Keep on pounding".
