Class Knowledge

Please tell us your opening rotation (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Depending on spec and talents

Frost with TV (legion style)
(3s before pull) Prepot->Icy Veins->Ebonbolt->Flurry->Icelance->Frozen Orb->Spam Ice Lance procs whenever you have, then spam frost bolt. whenever you get flurry, pop it after frostbolt and pop icelance after it (always). pop ebonbolt and frozen orb on cd unless Icy Veins is close

Frost with GS (bfa style)
Prepot->-Icy Veins-> Ebonbolt -> Flurry -> Icelance -> Frozen Orb- > Comet Storm -> Pop all ice lance procs, spam frostbolt it the meantime.
>Whenever you get 3 icicles dont cast flurry, keep it for GS
>Cast GS always when 5 icicles and flurry proc, cast flurry -> ice lance immediately after
> Keep ebonbolt for generating flurry procs in case of bad luck, so you do ebonbolt -> GS -> Flurry -> Ice lance
Use Frozen orb and Comet Storm on cd unless IV is close

Arcane mage
Prepot->Charged Up->Rune Of Power -> Arcane Power -> Spam Arcane Blast until buffs are gone -> another Rune of power and you continue spamming blasts. This is a burst opener

Please tell us your general rotation or priority system (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

TV Frost

Just pop cds on cooldown if you cant line them up with IV or Hero, dont waste ice lance procs by generating them over 2 or spending flurry during frozen orb active time. Usually its just spam frostbolt, pop ice lance procs insta, pop flurry procs after frostbolt and cast ice lance after, ebonbolt is always Ebonbolt -> Flurry -> Icelance, during Frozen Orb you dont use flurries if possible so you dont lose any Ice Lance Procs and just cast frostbolts in the meantime, thats it

GS Frost

Works the same, but you have additional cd to pop every 30 seconds (dont line it up, no need) and you use Ebonbolt rather as Utility. Also You want to Shatter every Glacial Spike on single target, so cast Glacial Spike -> Flurry proc -> Icelance -> Continue Frostbolts to generate icicles. If you get flurry proc below 3 icicles, just do frostbolt->flurry->icelance

Arcane Mage

After burning all the mana the way i described before, Evocate. Now finally we want to start using barrages and missiles. Burn some mana to not be capped, like to 70%, and;
- Use all missiles procs that you have
- Cast 4 arcane blasts and then barrage and repeat if you want to regen mana, if you want to burn more, you can just cast Rune of power and spam arcane blasts again.
There are few other abilities to use in the rotation that are kinda utility, like charged up and Presence Of Mind. Use presence to stick one more blast in before arcane power runs off, use charged up to gain stacks OR to save more mana due to 15tier talent, you can just Arcane Blast -> Barrage -> Charged up -> Arcane Blast - > Barrage without spending mana at all thanks to this. Use Evocate on cd but make sure you burned all the mana before, try to align burning mana with rune of power / arcane power

Please list your current stat priority (screenshots of your character profile on SimCraft/RaidBots will also suffice), and then explain the benefits of each stat for your specialisation, making sure to include any softcaps or breakpoints you are aiming for

for my Frost its currently Intellect > All secondary stats, its similiar for other specs. It has something to do with BFA balance i believe, never used to be like that. In Antorus it was pretty much like

Int > Crit to 33% > Haste / Vers >>> Mastery > Additional Crit

Every frost mage was aiming for something like

Crit 32-33%
Haste 25-31%
Mastery- Avoid this
Versatility- after reaching crit and haste desired amounts, put everything into it. I had 22-25% depending on a setup

Please list your current talent setup, without abbreviations, detailing for each row whether the choice changes for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE

Tier 15- Lonely Winter. I didnt feel a need to play GS build due to its fallibility and fragility compared to TV, while they both sim similiar. Bone Chilling is better with GS, but with TV not really
Tier 30- Shimmer is my go to and a BiS, it's a huge boost to one's mobility
Tier 45- Incanters flow- BiS for frost for a long time, huge damage boost and doesnt require using nor thinking
Tier 60- Ebonbolt- Gives you an opener and fair amount of burst damage / additional procs, only Frozen Touch gets close to it but they sim similiar and Ebonbolt wins with utility
Tier 75- Frigid Winds for slow, but when i need AoE root, i go Ring of Frost
Tier 90- All 3 are viable. I usually use Splitting Ice, but for pure single target Comet Storm is better
Tier 100- I use Thermal Void, although most people play GS these days. I had huge concerns about this at the beginning of the expansion whether TV will be viable on mythic, spent alot of time simming and realised it indeed is. GS loses tons of its nice simulated damage in real fight, while TV doesnt at all, and their sims are only around 2% apart of each other. GS is BiS simulation-wise, due to its higher dps when nothing is happening, but not only it loses damage in a fight, its very inconsistent and luck-based. Regarding the note; i can play whatever you want. If you want me to go arcane, i will. You want me to go fire or go for different talents for whatever reason, i just do it ;)

An important note: failure to play optimal specialisations may result in loss of raid spot/being sat. Please confirm you have acknowledged this
Yes

What is your opinion on sitting during progression (potentially for multiple bosses)?

Nobody likes sitting for progress, let's be honest :D but understanding that it's not only for guild's best, but for your own, is the key. I dont feel like i MUST be at all bosses to progress them, sitting couple bosses is fine for me

What is your opinion on Private vs Public logging?

Public logging means more knowledge for everyone, and knowledge is power! I dont like private logging because i cant compare myself to top players, for example, it just makes it harder to see what happened. But it has a good aspect too, at least in lower-end guilds- people dont care about logging if they know their shiny numbers wont be anywhere anyways :D and it helps alot

Background information

Please list your previous guilds and a brief reason for leaving each of them (current expansion)

I started BFA with Retry, planning to leave since we're doing worse and worse for few months already. We said we will push hard and be actually good, we're not. There are only few people who really care and give their best like i do, other than that it became a fiesta of negative attitude and random mistakes. It's not what i signed up for, it's something im trying to escape

In previous expansion there were many of them, however most of my guilds in Legion disbanded during progress which is a shame. I'm playing in Retry for 7 months already and i would stay for another 7 months and another if we didnt have a huge letdown compared to what we used to be. It's happening for many months already and i see no hope. I'm not a guild jumper and i love having one place that i can fully dedicate myself to

Why have you chosen to apply to Weeping Angels?

Honestly, you seem like a guild i'd fit into. I hope to meet many like-minded players there ;)

Hello there Casper!

We will review your application as soon as possible.

In the meanwhile i've got a few questions for you.

- How come your neck ilvl is so low? Do you only raidlog or do you do other stuff outside of raidtime? (m+ etc).
- When would you be able to transfer if accepted?

On a side note, you can still compare your private logs with normal logs. The major difference being that the "rank" is not made public. Everything else works as normal.

Hello ;) My neck is low, thats true, actually since i realised my guild isnt going anywhere in BFA either and has a letdown i lost my drive to play and grind, i don't even feel like coming to raids with them and im forcing myself to do it, thats the only reason its low; however its not hard to catch up with the weekly thing and wouldnt take long, i'm willing to do it. for first 1,5 month of the expansion ive been logging everyday doing all kind of stuff, it's all about the motivation. Now i limited it to just doing a weekly mythic+10 and raiding but its changing back as soon as i find a guild. When it comes to transfer, i'm able to transfer immediately :)
