I confirm that I have read the above guild rules and that failure to conform to these may result in loss of raid spot
If there are occasional issues with attendance, please let us know here

Battletag [OPTIONAL]

Race and Class
Blood Elf Monk
Main Spec

Off Spec(s) (only include if viable for progression)

None for monk.

Alts (comfortable playing for progression)

Have a disc priest that can transfer over if needed. Didn't plan on playing that char for raiding, as previous guild had multiple priests.

Class Knowledge

Please tell us your opening rotation (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Before pull
As healer this changes depending on fights, due to different damage patterns. But basically: Set up Jade Serpent Statue if talented, start the Soothing mist cast, and Thunder Focus tea+ Renewing mists at the start of fights for longer HoT duration and allows 4 targets to have the HoT rolling, for the uplift on 4 targets.

On Pull
Pre-potting and applying Mystic Touch if im the only monk in the raid.

After this damage patterns of the bosses change, and thus also the way I heal, certain bosses favor a more tank heavy healing style, etc.

Please tell us your general rotation or priority system (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

From High to low priority:

Renewing mist on CD, unless holding for short time (sub 5 seconds) to improve uplift usage for certain point in the fight.

I try to use Thunder Focus Tea to improve raid healing via Renewing mist, but if tanks/dps dip low, It can be used as a sort of panic heal with enveloping mist.

As for cooldowns, Mana tea is used to make vivify spamming for uplifts into Essence Font 50% cheaper, and should be used a lot if damage patterns allow it to be used without waste.

Revival usage mostly coordinated by healing officer/leader.

Please list your current stat priority (screenshots of your character profile on SimCraft/RaidBots will also suffice), and then explain the benefits of each stat for your specialisation, making sure to include any softcaps or breakpoints you are aiming for

Stat Priority for healers cant really be simmed that well(If at all).

I use the Teachings of the Red Crane Spreadsheet ( to calculate stat priorities. I used the average data for 8 Heroic kills and 2 mythic kills to generate my current stat weights:
Crit = 0.86 int
Haste = 0.38 int
Mastery = 0.59 int
Versatility = 0.69 int

For Raids, Haste does not(really) scale with essence font, making it the least desirable stat. Depending on the fight Crit/Vers/Mastery are all strong options, but mastery loses some value with a Holy Paladin in the raid, due to its effects most often proccing on tanks.

Please list your current talent setup, without abbreviations, detailing for each row whether the choice changes for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE

T1 = Chi Burst, Chi wave is not viable numbers wise atm, and Mist Wrap is only taken on tank healing fights(Fetid Mostly). Chi burst does decent healing, and allows me to apply Mystic Touch on multiple (ranged) adds without costing mana.

T2 = Fight dependent/preference, but tigers lust can help certain raid members with low mobility if needed. Chi Torpedo most other times.

T3 = Mana Tea is the strongest option in raids. Life Cycles does not provide enough mana to make it worth wile, and Fist weaving is unviable in raids so that basicly eliminates spirit of the crane.

T4 = Dampen Harm / Diffuse magic change depending on what boss facing, physical vs magic damage.

T5= Jade Serpent state for 99% of the fights, allows for more tank/single target healing, Refreshing jade Wind is not that good on most encounters

T6 = Upwelling is the only viable raid talent. Untill they buff fistweaving, Rising mist is not viable.

An important note: failure to play optimal specialisations may result in loss of raid spot/being sat. Please confirm you have acknowledged this

Raid Related Info

What is your opinion on sitting during progression (potentially for multiple bosses)?

Of course I would prefer to heal every raid boss, but realistically if a fight requires say 3 healers or mistweaver is terrible on a certain fight I dont mind sitting on the bench, as long as there will be a opportunity to participate on the rekill. Guild Progress is more important than the wishes of an individual player.

What is your opinion on Private vs Public logging?

Having logs on unlisted helps to prevent dps/hps whoring on progress, but as long as it doesn't hamper re clears, public live logging /making older logs public isn't a bad thing.

Background information

Please list your previous guilds and a brief reason for leaving each of them (current expansion)

Quit Once Again-Kazzak in late antorus due to conflicting social reasons. and am currently leaving Eximius on draenor due to roster changes(friends leaving guild) /wanting to get more into Hardcore/progress oriented raiding.

Why have you chosen to apply to Weeping Angels?

I want to get into top 300/400 raiding on a 3 day Schedule, currently have some issues on raiding before 8 on Wednesdays, so that eliminates a lot of guild for me. Weeping Angels offers me Good progress, great raid times(for me) and is looking for a Mistweaver Monk as of this moment.
