Disc

Off Spec(s) (only include if viable for progression)

Alts (comfortable playing for progression)

I have a monk, which isn't geared at the moment as I have only played my priest for this expansion so far. But I plan on getting it raid ready for future tiers.

Class Knowledge

Please tell us your opening rotation (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Discipline:
Shield tanks pre pull, pre-pot, play the fight accordingly.

Holy:
Depending on amount of time prior to pull stack PoM on tanks. Proceed to play the fight as a healer without a set opener.

Shadow:
Vampiric Touch
SW:P (if not playing misery)
Dark Ascension (to enter void form)
Void Bolt
Mind Blast
Mind flay (as filler)

Please tell us your general rotation or priority system (bullet-point form or similar is fine). If you play multiple specialisations then please do this for each one

Discipline:
Maintain SW:P on boss

Burst rotation:
4-5x PW:S for atonements
Double Radiance
Evang
Shadowfiend
Schism
Power Word: Solace
Penance
Smite (as filler)

Generally hard to set up a full rotation for a healer spec as this changes very much on dmg patterns and how each pull goes.

Holy is basically using your holy words when needed, and using either binding heal if specced or flash heal/PoH to drop cds. Using PoM on cd is also a priority.

Shadow:
Following priority
Maintain Vampiric Touch and SW:P on every target (assuming boss fight with max of 3-4 targets).
Use Void Eruption when possible
Void Bolt
Mind Blast
Mind bender at approx 5 stacks of void form
Mind Flay as filler

Please list your current stat priority (screenshots of your character profile on SimCraft/RaidBots will also suffice), and then explain the benefits of each stat for your specialisation, making sure to include any softcaps or breakpoints you are aiming for

Disc is roughly (assuming int is 1):
Int = 1
Haste/crit/vers = 0.7
Mastery = 0.6

Holy stat prio:
Int>Mastery=Crit>Vers>Haste

Shadow:
https://imgur.com/a/iPcTOaO

Please list your current talent setup, without abbreviations, detailing for each row whether the choice changes for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE

Disc:
Schism
Angelic Feather
Power Word: Solace
Shining Force
Sins of the Many
Halo
Evangelism

Holy:
Enlightenment
Angelic Feather
Cosmic Ripple
Shining Force (unless Censure is needed for a stun)
Binding Heal/Circle of Healing - depending on wisdoms or not. Mostly Binding Heal seems like the better choice atm.
Halo for stuff like Vectis where burst dmg is main output. Benediction for stuff like G'huun with tick dmg.
Holy Word: Salvation

Shadow:
ST:
Fortress of the Mind
Body and Soul (or Mania) - depends on fight
Twist of Fate
Last Word
Auspicious Spirits
Mindbender
Dark Ascension

Cleave/AoE:
Fortress of the Mind
Body and Soul (or Mania) - depends on fight
Misery
Last Word
Auspicious Spirits
Mindbender
Dark Ascension

An important note: failure to play optimal specialisations may result in loss of raid spot/being sat. Please confirm you have acknowledged this
Yes

What is your opinion on sitting during progression (potentially for multiple bosses)?

I don't mind sitting out on progression bosses. What I do mind, which I have only experienced once or twice, is being sat for the reclear and then getting brought in on the progression. While I do prefer the progression fights - the loot is a nice asset to raiding, and it helps on the progression as well.

What is your opinion on Private vs Public logging?

I can see pros and cons for both. You get no real benefit from public logging as a guild. I do, however, prefer public logs to private logs as it makes it easier for a player to look at a guild, and figure out whether or not he has a real reason to apply to a guild. But I don't really mind either. While it is nice to get good logs private logging might stop log-whoring, which is always nice.

Background information

Please list your previous guilds and a brief reason for leaving each of them (current expansion)

I am currently in the guild "game used to be hard" which is a guild I recently joined to have a place to get into the current tier. I have no relation to them at this point, and I have no wish of establishing one with them. The guild is made of a core of 13-14 friends that played since vanilla, and their general attitude is very negative. This negativity is mainly shown in situations where trials have been kicked without reason being given, and when people complained they all jumped on the wagon and saying "the GM doesn't need to explain anything he does, he could disband the guild tomorrow if he felt like it."

Prior to that I joined Ad Elysium, which were the reason I came to Draenor in the first place (I played on Kazzak up until BFA launch). The guild was advertised as a 11/11 mythic guild, and the people I talked to in the recruitment procedure made this a clear selling point. The reality of it happened to be a second raid team being started, which struggled with clearing heroic Zul/Mythrax during the first two weeks. The reason for leaving this guild was just disappointment in the speed of progressing, and the raid leading was close to non-existent.

Why have you chosen to apply to Weeping Angels?

I have for a long time wanted to join a top 200 guild. I have, however, been unable to join one that didn't collapse. I have read about your guild, and liked what I've read. I watched some of your kill vids, and it seems like a very nice raid environment. Your raid leading seems good, and the overall atmosphere seems very enjoyable.

While I do not exactly have extensive raiding experience, I fully believe that I am capable of playing at a higher level than I have previously done. I hope you will consider me despite lacking raid experience at a higher level.

Lastly - thanks for reading my application. I hope you can find me of any use.
