Please explain in detail your opener

As I have the legendary shoulders I will usually pre-hot the raid while getting some food before the pull to stay at 100% mana. If the raid will take exstensive damage during the early part of the fight, I will also use a Prolonged Power as pre-pot.

Please explain your rotation, if any

I'll have lifebloom on the main tank with near 100% uptime, as well as a rejuv on both tanks + germination on fights with heavy tank damage. During phases where spot-healing is required I'll usually just do dps while maintaining HoTs on the tanks, and letting palas take care of the spot-healing. When expected raid damage is coming up, I'll coat the raid with rejuvs, using my racial + innervate if available and hit Flourish as the damage is about to hit, and then using G'Hanir + Velens. During exstensive raid damage I'll try to maintain a lot of rejuvs to maximize healing from the Dreamwalker trait with Wild Growth, and gaining the 2p set bonus for extra mastery as much as possible. G'Hanir/Velens/Tranq will all be used at the pre-coordinated time during the boss fight, making sure not to overlap major healing CD's with the other healers.

Please explain your current stat priority, this includes gems, enchants & set bonusses you are currently going for

The current stat prio that I'm going for is Mastery>Crit>Haste>Vers
I'm trying to farm the CoS/Arcway set with mastery proc, but I'm currently lacking a pair of gloves with a decent ilvl.

Please explain your current talents and glyphs, explain why you are using them, when if and why you change your talents for any current encounter:

Lvl 15 - Cenarion Ward: Good tank healing, while also being useful on fights where certain people require extra healing due to soaking an intended spell or something.
Lvl 30 - Displacer Beast: For movement.
Lvl 45 - Guardian Affinity: Extra survivability during progress.
Lvl 60 - Typhoon/Stun: If required.
Lvl 75 - Cultivation: Generally the strongest choice, but I have occasionally swapped it for Tree of Life, for extensive raid healing, when our healer setup needed it.
Lvl 90 - Germination/Inner Peace: Germination on most fights for more throughput, while I've been using Inner Peace on some fights that required healing CD's in a smaller interval.
Lvl 100 - Flourish: Best choice. More throughput + mana conservation.

Background information

Raid experience (Current and previous)

I started playing WoW in vanilla, but I was obviously too young to understand the game, so I first started raiding in Cataclysm as a resto druid, which I have been playing ever since. In Cataclysm I started out very casual and moved on to a more serious guild and managed to clear DS 7/8 HC before our guild disbanded.
In MoP I didn't do much raiding because of lack of interest in the game, and only came back during SoO, which I cleared on HC with a casual raiding guild (when mythic was the hardest).
In WoD I started out raiding a lot, clearing Highmaul HC and 2/7 mythic, before taking a break from the game, and coming back for HFC, which I cleared on HC, and went 4/11M.
In Legion I decided to try becoming a more competetive raider, which kind of failed with the first guild I joined, where we weren't able to progress EN Mythic, due to lack of people in the raid group. Later I moved on to my current guild, which had already cleared EN, and I progressed with them through ToV M, going 2/3.
Now in NH we've managed to clear 10/10M, bringing Gul'dan down once, one week ago

Screenshot of UI in RAID COMBAT (LFR is ok)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngXB6g632zs - Video of our Gul'dan kill with my POV. (I hope this will do)

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving

Depthcore - Was a casual guild with a Danish raid team. I left to become more competetive

AtoR - World 707 (Current guild) - A somewhat competetive guild, but unfortunately with too many flaws and players who are underperforming without consequences from the officers or the raid leader.

Reason behind applying for Weeping Angels

I know Faithy, which is how I came to know of this guild.
I'm applying in hopes of finding a competetive and serious guild, which is able to down bosses while having fun. I wish to be the best, and I feel like I'm being dragged down by my current raiding team.
I also look for a guild that has requirements for its raiders, where it is crucial to perform at your highest, and stay up to date with gear and knowledge about your class and the game in general.
As ToS approaches I would like to find a raid team, and progress through mythic to get a good rank in the world, while maintaining a life beside the game, which would be perfect with your 3-day raiding scheme, which suits me perfectly.

Write any additional information you feel you need to tell in your apply

As stated, my main spec is Resto, but I have BiS legendaries for balance as well, and I wouldn't mind playing that spec, if no healing spot is available, and you need a ranged dps. I don't have any alts with an ilvl higher than 871, but I would gladly gear one up, if you are in need of any particular class right now.

Hi Tobias,

I was just curious about your level 90 talent choice. I see you haven't included spring blossom in your list, and this talent is by far the best choice on several fights. I'm curious why you aren't using it. Also, you list one stat priority but does this not change based on talent choices? If so, how?

Lvl 90 - Germination/Inner Peace: Germination on most fights for more throughput, while I've been using Inner Peace on some fights that required healing CD's in a smaller interval.

You state below that you occasionally use tree of life. You are currently running a mastery build, so any situation where people drop low means cultivation will provide an additive 19% healing but (as well as the healing from cultivation - conservatively 7-11% of your healing). Tree of life's flat increase of 15% is substantially below this benefit, though you do get extra hits of wild growth and more powerful and cheaper rejuvs (insta regrowth isn't really a consideration) - can you realistically justify ever taking ToL in a raiding environment?

Lvl 75 - Cultivation: Generally the strongest choice, but I have occasionally swapped it for Tree of Life, for extensive raid healing, when our healer setup needed it.

I also found the below interesting:

When expected raid damage is coming up, I'll coat the raid with rejuvs, using my racial + innervate if available and hit Flourish as the damage is about to hit, and then using G'Hanir + Velens. During exstensive raid damage I'll try to maintain a lot of rejuvs to maximize healing from the Dreamwalker trait with Wild Growth.

I understand the interaction with wild growth and dreamwalker but I wonder why you haven't included it in your ramp up for 'expected raid damage'. Can you tell me when specifically you might cast wild growth and what spells would folllow it- and if so, how quickly afterwards.

Thanks,

Hey Zag,

Thank you for the response. I'd be happy to answer your questions, as I do realize that my application was lacking some information.

I didn't include Spring Blossom, as I haven't felt like i could utilize its healing with lack of coordination in our raid. I did however use it in early progression on Skorp, Chrono and Krosus, but I haven't been using it on fights since.

My stat prio does change based on talent choices. When running Germination and Spring Blossom, mastery would be the strongest, but when running Inner Peace, I would build more crit.

Regarding the ToL choice, I only tried out the talent a few times, due to our paladin not being there for raid, and we needed some spot healing, which I try to bring with ToL. But I only ever used it 3 or 4 times, so I would never do this with an optimal healing setup, and I do realize that it probably wasn't even a good idea, even with an amputated healing setup.

I realize that I didn't explain my ramp up in full detail, I apologize for this. I do use Wild Growth in my ramp up, for extra Rejuvs, and I will cast it a few seconds before hitting Flourish to extend it as much as possible and get another Wild Growth out while the first one is still rolling.

I hope this answers all of your questions, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again :)

Best regards,

Tobias

Hi Tobias, thank you for your application, while your logs and app are generally pretty good, we cannot imagine you being able to compete with our current roster in it's current state, especially as you did mention yourself, that you've had to pick up spot healing a lot versus doing what your class actually excels at, that train of thoughts leads us to believe that you've been a stronger player in a weaker team.

Therefore we're declining your application, but wish you good luck in your guild hunt!
