Please explain in detail your opener

Pre-pot: Old War if we're Bloodlusting on pull, Prolonged Power if not as Prolonged Power provides a larger benefit.

Stealth -> Garrote -> Mutilate -> Vendetta -> Mutilate -> Vanish -> Rupture (With Nightstalker active) -> Mutilate (1 or 2 dependant on whether it Crits) -> Envenom -> Kingsbane and begin my normal rotation.

Please explain your rotation, if any

My rotation involves keeping up the 2 set bonus bleed, Garrote and Rupture (Nightstalkered where possible) whilst maintaining a good up time on Envenom and Surge of Toxins, this is especially important when it comes to using Kingsbane as it's damage increases by 15% per poison application, I find most times with Kingsbane I get to 17-19~ "stacks" on it.

Keeping all 3 bleeds up on the target is mandatory as my 4 set bonus increases my Envenom's damage by 10% per bleed.

Please explain your current stat priority, this includes gems, enchants & set bonusses you are currently going for

My current stat priority sims as Mastery > Versatility > Crit > Haste.

Mastery is the obvious go to as my main secondary stat as it increases the effectiveness of my Agonizing Poison by (currently) 59%.

Versatility although a very boring linear stat is useful as it's a flat Damage Done/Taken % Increase/Decrease.

Crit is used to make the rotation smoother. As Assassination Rogues no longer use Deeper Stratagem after the damage nerf to it. We now only have access to 5 combo points, meaning 50% of the time we would like Envenom to Crit to give us the 5 combo points. Crit did used to be the main stat to 44% when using AP. Sadly after the Secondary Stat rework Assassinations rotation is no longer as clean and smooth as what it used to be.

Haste is near useless as it provides only Energy Regen and Attack Speed.

Please explain your current talents and glyphs, explain why you are using them, when if and why you change your talents for any current encounter:

Before 7.1.5 the talent choices for Assassination were pretty linear and in Blizzards attempts to allow more diversity they've just changed the linear path.

Level 15: Surge of Toxins

Surge of Toxins is particularly good with my 4 set as it increases poison damage essentially making my Envenom 10% stronger whilst maintaining the Debuff. On top of that it increases my Agonizing Poison from 6.1 -> 7.1% Damage Taken.

Level 30: Nightstalker

Nightstalker is the talent that in my eyes that is the core of Assassinations burst, Allowing my Vanish -> Rupture combo to deal 150% damage compared to a non-vanished Rupture. With using 1 x Master Assassin Relic and having Convergence of Fates. Roughly every 2 Vendetta's the Damage bonus from Vendetta will still be active when it comes to casting my Vanish Rupture. As it is additive my Rupture then does 180%~

Level 45: Vigor

Since the change of the secondary stats and Crit not being as useful as it used to be and the Deeper Stratagem nerf. Vigor has become the go to talent in order to make the rotation smoother.

Level 60: Cheat Death

Even after the nerf it still reigns supreme, saves me once every 6 minutes if I happen to misplace myself, Elusiveness is also useful on certain fights with periods of high raid AOE damage.

Level 75: Thuggee

Resetting the cooldown on Garrote can be somewhat useful during raid encounters if a high priority add requires me to ramp up on it, soloing the adds on the right side during the slow phase on Chronomatic Anomaly is an example of this.

Level 90: Agonizing Poison/Elusiveness

By far the most interesting set of talents as to an extent all 3 in this row have their uses.

The Agonizing Poison nerfs/buffs/re-tweaks have made this the strongest talent to go to, this allows tunnelling into a high health add, priority target or the boss through a burn phase even more affective.

Alacrity has a few niché uses. Skorpyron and Botanist being the main two uses. for dealing with the adds and allowing us to easily keep Rupture & Deadly Poison up on all 3 targets.

Level 100: Venom Rush

Venom Rush is a cookie cutter talent and is far above the other two in terms of progression raiding. The extra energy has no cap on the amount of procs. Meaning it becomes more useful when you have more than one Rupture up.

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving

Weeping Angels 26/8/14 - 2/8/16: Ended up having to take a hiatus from the game due to some severe real life issues to do with things such as mental health and unhealthy relationships. Sadly when I returned to the game you already had a full roster.

Triggered: 5/8/16 - 12/2/17: Officer team decided to throw the towel in, in regards to Mythic raiding due to the different levels of passion for progression on the team.

Reason behind applying for Weeping Angels

Having already been in Weeping Angels for 2 years, you guys put up with my endless excuses, horrible mood swings and having to deal with my personal issues along side me, a lot of the core team from when I was raiding has continued to raid as Weeping Angels. After taking time out of the game to seek help for a lot of the things I buried using WoW.

I feel now is a good point to get back into a level of raiding I feel comfortable in and with people who I have pre-existing relationships with.

Thanks for taking the time to read my application.

Aidan / Xylexis.

Write any additional information you feel you need to tell in your apply

As for Relic choices, there is currently 3 setups that I can use, 3x MA (Best used with CoF, No 4 PC & Legendary Boots). 1x MA 2x GW (Best used with CoF & No Legendary Boots, this is currently the one I am using) and 1x MA 1x GW & 1x TB. This setup is best used for those with 2 high Agility trinkets, Legendary Boots & 4 pc.

Hi Aidan,

Thanks for the application.

It's great that you've shown an interest in rejoining us, but the issue is that our roster really is completely full (sitting on around 26 players). I can't even really say for how long this may stay the case, as our roster is generally pretty solid, so unfortunately I'm going to have to decline your application principally on the basis that we simply can't fit any more players into the team at the moment.

Should this change in the future, feel free to reapply, but for the minute I wish you luck with your guild hunt.
