Shouldn't have a problem with those hours.
Speedtest: Please do a speedtest on (http://www.speedtest.net/) and link us your result below.
I have a somewhat geared Demon Hunter 876ish and a Resto Shaman at 885ish. Both with 35 traits and I can play with both competently.
Please explain in detail your opener
Tier 1: Master Poisoner
In patch 7.1.5 this became the go to talent choice due to the Elaborate Planning nerf, it also makes for a quality of life change as you use fewer 2-3 point envenom's maintaining Elaborate Planning.
Tier 2: Nightstalker
Used for vanish rupturing a target whilst utilizing pandemic effect, so basically applying a 2-3 point rupture, getting 5 combo points and vanish rupturing to extend the duration of the nightstalkered rupture.
Tier 3: Vigor
This started getting used as a result of the nerf to Deeper Stratagem in 7.1.5, its also a nice quality of life change making the opener less RNG on crits (2 point mutilates are bad).
Tier 4: Utility
This changes based on fight/m+ etc. My go to talent is Elusiveness however cheat death can be used to cheese a mechanic.
Tier 5: Thugee
Not really a DPS increase its just a nice to have for mythic +/add fights.
Tier 6: Agonizing Poison / Exsanguinate
Agonizing Poison increases damage depending on how much mastery you have by x amount. For single target fights AP is the way to go despite the nerf it just took. Exsanguinate is used on fights with adds as deadly poison is much more effective against adds. However in M+ I generally just run DP and switch to AP on bosses.
Tier 7: Venom Rush
Only viable talent as Sin rogues are already starved of energy most of the time this some what helps with that.
Please explain your rotation, if any
I pre-pot Old War then open with Garrote (Nightstalker), Mutilate, Rupture, Mutilate, Vendetta, Mutilate, Vanish Rupture, Mutilate, Kingsbane, Envenom. Then just keep garrote/rupture up 100% and go into normal rotation.
Sometimes I like to do an early Envenom to get 5 stacks of Agonizing prior to Vendetta however this is very RNG and sometimes by the time I'm bursting I have 5 stacks (this was buffed to 30% in the patch from 20%).
Please explain your current stat priority, this includes gems, enchants & set bonusses you are currently going for
Agility -> Mastery -> Crit -> Vers -> Haste. (depending on your current crit, vers might be slightly better, its very close)
This is based on Simulation Craft and is proven to be the best. Agility increases all your damage as it increases your attack power. Mastery increases poison damage/effect (buffing AP/DP). The other stats speak for themselves. I use Pawn / Sim C daily whenever I get a potential upgrade.
Please explain your current talents and glyphs, explain why you are using them, when if and why you change your talents for any current encounter:
I think I've covered that above however i'll go through it again.
The only talents that change is Tier 4 and 6. Utility and AP / Exsanguinate.
If theres adds and i'm assigned to them i'll go with Exsanguinate, if not AP. If I'm required to soak an ability that isn't "massive damage" then i'll run cheat death, else I'll run elusiveness to help reduce damage on myself.
Raid experience (Current and previous)
Current: Not done much raiding at all in Legion besides the occasional pug as you've probably noticed from my logs and to be honest I didn't even realise I had logs until I checked!
WoD: Didn't raid as I hated Garrisons, effectively skipped the expansion.
MoP: Cleared all content before nerfs up to Klaxxi, only raided twice a week, this was on 10 man and I played hunter for the expansion as my main.
Cata: Stopped playing after Ra'Den, was somewhat burned out as I had University and balancing a hardcore raiding profile.
LK: Cleared all content, think it was with 25% buff if I remember correctly.
TBC: Cleared all content except M'uru + KJ pre-nerf.
Vanilla: Up to Emperors a week or so before TBC hit. Killed Anub in Naxx, but I was a keyboard turning clicker back then!
Loot FTW: This was probably the most hardcore guild I was on, I joined them at the start of TBC and stopped raiding with them just before Sunwell hit. I was young and wanted to play more PvP at the time with my friends, immediately regretted that decision a month or two later. They were quite a recognised guild at the time, I think we got top 20 world on Illidan and i'm featured on the kill video.
Nerve: This was my own guild throughout LK/Cata which I was the raid leader for also. We cleared all content as mentioned above. We stopped raiding because as I had started my first year in University and thought that Uni would require my attention, it did not as it was pretty damn easy. When I came back, the person I had left GM too basically couldn't hack it. Think it caved around the end of MoP. A few raiders are doing pretty well for themself after leaving, 2 are in Scrub Busters and 2 are in Danish Terrace.
There have been various other guilds however these are probably the most notable two.
Reason behind applying for Weeping Angels
Seem like a very stable guild and are clearing content on time which is always a plus.
Not going to lie though the main reason behind applying is that I want to raid, Nighthold is a brilliant raid and you guys advertised as needing a rogue.
Write any additional information you feel you need to tell in your apply
My logs probably aren't an accurate representation of my ability as they were all pugs and most of which I probably didn't pre-pot / pot during the fight. Thanks for taking the time to read my application. Craig.
