Character information

Battletag? [OPTIONAL]

Race and Class
Troll Druid
Main spec

Itemlvl (mainspec)

889 Single Target, 886 AOE

Itemlvl (offspec)

Warcraft logs URL [REQUIRED] - emerald nightmare tends to set me to "guardian" even though I have way more logs as balance...

110 Paladin, Warrior, Shaman, Hunter, Monk, Demon-hunter, Warlock and sPriest, all keeping upto date on AK and order hall for 2 legendaries, but none have anything substantial put into them yet gear wise. Putting all my focus on Druid at the moment, as this expansion isn't alt-friendly.

Please explain in detail your opener

for ST
prepot, precast Solar Wrath into Moonfire and Sunfire, pop my CD's (troll racial Berserking, Incarnation, my use trinket) into New Moon, Half Moon, Full Moon, Solar Wrath which sets me on 96/100 power so I can start my rotation.

for AOE
mostly the same, but I could cut out the Full Moon if it's not immediately going to hit multiple mobs, so that it's used when the mobs come in (as long as it will be within 30 seconds).

Please explain your rotation, if any

for ST
In Single Target I will ALWAYS use The Emerald Dreamcatcher helm which causes my rotation to be getting to my highest power without capping and then dumping once with a Starsurge, using two Solar Wraths or one Lunar Strike depending on whether I have 2 or higher Solar Wrath Empowerments available (this is so I don't drop the buff that my helm gives me to Starsurge, our primary damage source having its cost almost cut in half). I can also fill with a New Moon or a Half Moon if I have either available, so that I don't waste any charges of moon. If I have 3 charges of Moon (then i've messed up my rotation) I should use the moons immediately and get to full power again and start my rotation again. This rotation is amplified if there are haste variables, for example Chrono Shard proc, Erratic Metronome proc and Bloodlust - with Bloodlust I can actually fit my Full Moon into my rotation without dropping the Starsurge Helm buff.

for AOE

and make sure I have 57 power ready for the aoe mobs when they come in so I can Sunfire and immediately Starfall them.

Please explain your current stat priority, this includes gems, enchants & set bonusses you are currently going for

My stat priority is basically haste > mastery >> crit =~ versatility.

Quick Dawnlight gems (and one Saber's Eye of Intellect), +200 haste on ring, Mark of the Trained Soldier on neck, +200 intellect on cloak, I tend to go with Winter's Grasp enchant visual for my weapon, but I am easily swayed over to a classic Mongoose.

Set bonus wise I currently have the normal mode gloves, but I am going for Shoulder, Chest, Legs and Cloak.

Trinket it's Metronome and Whispers in the Dark from Gul'dan (didn't ask but I think it's important nontheless). Legendaries are for ST The Emerald Dreamcatcher (I have) and Impeccable Fel Esssence (I have). For high movement it's Impeccable Fel Essence (I have) and the Oneth's Intution (do NOT have yet).

Please explain your current talents and glyphs, explain why you are using them, when if and why you change your talents for any current encounter:

I'm using 3/2/2/3/2/3/3 - the only importance are the last 2 lines.

Pure ST or situations where you have to FULL switch to a dedicated add would be Blessing of the Ancients for row 90, and Nature's Blessing for row 100. If theres room to effectively roll dots on longer than 8 second lasting targets for example Odyn then you would switch row 90 for Shooting Stars which basically means my rolling dots also cause stars to fall on their targets dealing free damage. Anything where my Starfall (aoe placed on the ground for 8 seconds) could get benefited enough such as Skorpyron for the sake of the raid, then I would switch row 100 to Stellar Drift.

Background information

Raid experience (Current and previous)

Raided ever since Classic WoW when I was a teenager - clearing everything but Naxx. In BC and WOTLK I cleared everything, in Cataclysm I killed upto Firelands HC Rag before taking a 2 year volunteer service break - came back fairly social in MOP but still doing the raids until WOD where I came back to full time raiding during BRF. I Ahead of the Curved HFC and most importantly got his and Blackhands mounts, I've curved everything but Helya in Legion so far.

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving

It's the guild I am currently in on my armory - it's a fine guild and I have no hard feelings toward them. Reason explained in next box.

Reason behind applying for Weeping Angels

My friend Lettucelady/Suntclayer said you needed a Balance druid and I really enjoy playing with him - they were similar progression so really it's mainly to come over there and raid alongside him again - something i've wanted to do again for a long time but haven't been able to since WOD.

Write any additional information you feel you need to tell in your apply

I'm a hard worker who doesn't skip raids ever (I've missed one raid in the last 10 years because my dad had to get rushed in an ambulance to the hospital 5 minutes before my raid started with what looked like a heartattack - hopefully that never happens again so I shouldn't ever miss a raid again. I'm upfront and honest - and care first about what's best for the team over myself. I don't put a lot of stock into ignoring calls so that I can do more DPS myself, if something needs done I will just do it. Thank you very much for your time, I hope to hear from you :)
