Warcraft logs URL [REQUIRED] - Previous/Current raiding teams logs. I’m on there for the past month. Healing composition changed a lot.

Please explain in detail your opener

I know the spec and class inside and out, being able to comfortably experiment different combinations of stats, talents and trinkets. I started off the Legion expansion getting as much haste and critical strike alongside using Prosperity, Displacer Beast, Guardian Affinity, Typhoon, Soul of the Forest, Spring Blossoms and Flourish.

Please explain your rotation, if any

Instead of rotation, as there really isn’t a set rotation for a healer, I’ll explain the uses of my healing spells and cool downs in scenarios. As I think this is the best way to use my “rotation”.
These scenarios are hypothetical and if I were using the talents, Cenarion Ward, Cultivation, Inner Peace and Flourish.

The tank who is pulling the boss, aka the main tank. Will make sure to have life bloom and centurion ward on him as close to 1or2 seconds as possible, this means that I can focus on hotting up the rest of the raid in quick succesion, for fights that dive straight into raid damage. If it’s prolonged damage at the start of the fight, when I’d feel comfortable that my Rejuvenation Blanket was big enough for the raid, I’d cast flourish to ensure the rejuve is going to last through the expected incoming damage. To further this damage, for the harder hitting fights, my artifact ability is great to use. Ensuring that the potency of my heals are excellent and heal through the damage effortlessly. Making sure to use all my clear casting props when possible, using my WeakAura to track this to make sure I’m using all clearcast procs.

Focusing on uptimes of HOTs is key, and is something I analyse in Logs and Details! while playing.

Please explain your current stat priority, this includes gems, enchants & set bonusses you are currently going for

Int>Haste>=Crit=Versatility>Mastery unless you're on Dragons of Nightmare, then it's Mastery>=Int>Haste=>Crit=Versatility.
Crit has equal value to Versatility when you got 3250 more Crit than Versatility. If the gap is bigger, Versatility is best, if the gap is smaller, Crit is best.

Haste Gems and Enchants where possible.

Please explain your current talents and glyphs, explain why you are using them, when if and why you change your talents for any current encounter:

Then as we progressed more and more into Emerald Nightmare, I found myself transitioning into Cultivation and Cenarion ward more paired with Inner Peace. Also realising that I should be Int>Haste>Crit instead of Haste>Crit>Int I began using this combination upon my guild attempting HC Ursoc, as it this was a heavy damage fight when new. But hard hitting tank damage also, for Cenarion Ward and Inner Peace, a 2 minute tranquility is a no brainer, especially with the Focused Gazes on Ursoc. I use different sources to see how my class is ranking and how it’s being played currently, any updates I see I take into consideration, be it on MMO Champion in a latest update, on the Druid or Healer Discord. Or checking WarcraftLogs top parses to see what they are doing on a certain fight and where I could improve. Reddit is also a very useful source for tips and tricks.

Background information

Raid experience (Current and previous)

I am an exceptionally motivated raider, with the ability and past experience to achieve Mythic Progression and Clears with the right team given. I have been raiding on this game since early Burning Crusade, I’ve jumped between my US and EU character due to having friends in the US. and I raided Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor on US realm, all achieving the highest possible diffculty in each and every one of them. I am extremely reliable and have great attendance to raids. I come properly prepared, making sure I am flasked, enchanted, fed and gemmed! Also vantus runes on progress bosses. I never stop eating, infact I’m always fed. I can bring a realistic attitude towards raiding and I find myself in the past, slipping into the role of the raider leader occasionally, I find it hard to sit back and watch the raid go completely wrong. I am an out-the-box thinker also, I live log to ensure that I can analyse the attempts quickly, on what went wrong on some pulls, if it was a massive issue, or where we could of got a bit more percent off of the boss. I would then voice this to the raid, and can see if the problem persists and then it would be a case of suggesting solutions also. I additionally do the analysis of attempts for my own role too, as a healer. I’m always keeping up to date with my class through various methods of news and updates. Especially on new fights where people of my class and role have killed already, see what they did and how they handled it. Try to replicate this and adjust to my liking and our raid team.

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving

Since returning for Legion, after my 5 month break, I transferred realms to Draenor EU where my old guild had gone to, No Quarter, this guild had changed a ton in the time I’d been away from them. And after I’d first started raiding with them again in legion, is was apparent the roster had changed so much, to the point that they weren’t ready for Mythic raiding in Emerald Nightmare, so it was necessary for me to leave on good terms, and find another guild elsewhere, in the meantime I raided a bit with Foundation. At the end of my trial I was asked if I would like to stay in the guild or not and I declined on the basis that there was no organisation within the guild, and the officers didn’t communicate with one another to achieve maximum performance in raids, they brung a random roster without much thought to the synergy of the raid team, and wondered why it took so long to kill Il’gynoth Mythic. The attitude towards raiding in both guilds wasn’t what I expect and I am currently Social in the guild upon declining my raid spot offer, while I search for another guild.

Reason behind applying for Weeping Angels

Looking at the current progress and roster of your team, I’d say I was well suited and would fit in comfortably. I feel as though I’d be an aspect to the team that you’d love to have. Bringing top performance, with a hint of raid humor. Your guild ethics and attitude is also a huge key element to me wanting to join also.

Hey Curmin,

Thank you for the detailed application and your interest in our guild.

Unfortunately, at this time we have 5 strong main-spec healers and as such, we cannot really make room for another. For this reason, I am going to decline your application.

Thanks again and good luck in your guild hunt!
No worries, if you need a healer in the future or on a raid night you're a healer short, invite me ingame Curmin.
